This Friday (December 17, 2010) we are going to give away software to three random friends. All you have to do is like us on Facebook, join our Flickr group, or post a comment to this blog article. On Friday we will pick a random person from each of these three pools. If you are chosen then you can pick one of our products, yes even the Photo Bundle.
If you need help deciding which of our products you completely love then stop by our site where we have loads of images, video, and info. Our latest big improvements have been to Bokeh and Exposure. If you are in the middle of a holiday graphic design project, then maybe you need Eye Candy. I used it to make the frosty logo above!
This is part of a shift to our blog and social media. If you enjoy the newsletter then please follow us in those other places. The blog and Facebook get much more frequent articles on interesting topics than we have room for in the newsletter. For examples, see below!
Here are some examples from the Flickr group.
Our Flickr group continues to produce beautiful images like the ones above and below. Stop by or join to see them at full size.
The Blog's Firehose of Fun
At first we thought the blog would be a chore, but it is the opposite. We post more than ever and there is no shortage of interesting ideas. We even lured in the programmers! Check out Asdiel Echevarria's article on light painting.
Following the blog's RSS feed or friending us on Facebook also keeps you informed about product updates. For instance, Finley Lee recently announced the 64-bit update for Eye Candy 6. The final 64-bit product updates will be announced in the next week or two.

If you are still looking for holiday gift ideas, read our articles on science photography books and Andy Goldsworthy's natural art.
We frequently mention tutorials in the blog, like this one on converting color to black & white. This article points to a few Exposure tutorial videos from De Vetpan Studios. Here is a pointer to Eye Candy's winter effects, like icicles and snow which we also used at the top of this newsletter.
When you are tired of being productive, just watch these mesmerizing videos of iPad light painting, time lapse clouds, animated illustration, and random cool graphics projects.
