It’s especially helpful for comparing presets from the same family, such as Exposure’s variations of film emulations like Kodachrome, or Fuji Pro.

Thanks for commenting, Charles. Exposure’s preset audition ability is not available in version X2. It is one of the new features that were added in version X3.

Thanks Jimmy, Your instructions are very clear. When I try it, the first snapshot is fine. But whether I click and drag or double click a new preset, it isn’t added to the audition view.

Once you enter Audition mode by selecting the spotlight icon. When it is enabled, Exposure should apply presets into a new cell with one click or via drag and drop. Here is a detailed tutorial video that demonstrates how to compare photos and presets in Exposure. That should help.
