Photoshop CC 2015.5 Update

Adobe recently released their Photoshop CC 2015.5 update. When you install it you’ll find that plug-ins do not automatically transfer to the new version. The solution is simple and this update comes with some great news.

We’re excited for the Photoshop CC 2015.5 update, because Adobe has created a new Creative Cloud shared location for storing plug-ins. This means that the next time you update Photoshop your plug-ins will be right where you left them.

You’ll just need to download and run the installer for your plug-in.  Installers for current products will recognize and install to the new version. Download Updates

If you have an older version you have some installation options that are covered in this article. Plug-in Missing After Photoshop Update

Thanks for the info and rhat explains a lot. I use your software and others. I have cc but every time they upgrade it screws things up. I am forced to use it because you do not support Fuji xpro2. I am also unhappy to learn that few month old exposure X e,I’ll not be a free upgrade to x2.

      Hi Elliot,

The hassle of reinstalling your plugins after an update to Photoshop should be gone now.

The Fuji X-Pro 2 is on the roadmap for Exposure X2, so you’ll be able to use Exposure as a standalone.

Unfortunately you purchased Exposure outside of the 90-day free upgrade window, but you can purchase the new version at the upgrade price.
