Exposure X2 Portraiture

The most advanced RAW editor and organizer just got better! Introducing Exposure X2.

Exposure X2

We’re pleased to announce the release of Exposure X2!

Exposure X2 is the follow-up to last year’s award-winning Exposure X. It’s the next step in creating the best non-destructive RAW editor and organizer available. And it continues Exposure’s tradition of inspiring your creativity and helping you work efficiently.

A vast library of creative presets provides a variety of gorgeous looks. You can apply each preset unmodified, or customize them with creative editing tools to forge your own unique style.

Master your workflow using Exposure’s many organizing tools. Its streamlined approach eliminates unnecessary complexities like catalogs and imports, while a variety of filtering and selection tools help you cull and organize your images.

Exposure X2 introduces many significant new features, including several popular requests from Exposure users:

  • Spot Healing. Easily fix blemishes and other imperfections, without having to open additional apps to complete your retouching. You can heal (i.e., skin healing in portraits) and clone (great for removing distracting elements in landscapes).
  • Faded Presets. Impart a hazy, dreamy effect to your photos, with lifted blacks, tone curve variation, split toning, and color casts. As with all our presets, they are completely customizable.
  • History Panel. Track every creative edit that you make, right down to the exact value of each slider. It’s a handy way of revisiting edits made during a lengthy session.
  • Metadata Search. Quickly search and sort your library using a variety of criteria, such as ISO, camera or lens type, shutter speed, f-stop, and many more.

We’ve also updated the Exposure Bundle, so that Exposure X2 is the centerpiece. The bundle integrates all of our award-winning photo apps: Exposure, Snap Art, and Blow Up.

Snap Art natural media effects enable you to easily transform your photos into gorgeous, handcrafted paintings in the style of oil paints, watercolors, and more. Blow Up image enlargement technology lets you enlarge your photos while keeping them crystal clear. The Exposure X2 Bundle offers considerable savings of almost 60%.

As always, our apps are flexible enough to also work as creative editing plug-ins with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

I see they have no discount at all for current Exposure users. I wasn’t expecting much. Maybe a gesture that your loyal users get $20, $10, even $5 would be better than zero. Not even a tip of the hat. I’ll find an alternate software and I’m sure there are equivalent or even better apps.

      Hi Jerry,

I think there’s a misunderstanding. Current users can take advantage of the upgrade price, which is significantly discounted.

I see some users have installed X2 as both standalone and a plugin on a Win7 64bit PC even though your minimum specs says Win8 or above.

Is there some functunality that is lost on Win7?

I purchased the X2 bundle upgrade but wonder now if I should install it?

Exposure X2 will work on 64 bit versions of Windows 7, but it hasn’t been thoroughly tested. Our policy is to test and resolve bugs on the current and one prior version of operating system from both Windows and Apple. This means that older versions may work, but bugs that are specific to that operating system may not be fixed. With that said, Windows 7 remains a popular operating system for Exposure users, so let us know if you have any issues and we’ll see what we can do.
