Photo of the Month, October

Yes friends, it’s that time again. Here is the latest edition of our monthly photo-sharing contest on Facebook. All of us at the mothership love to see all of the pics shared in the Exposure and Snap Art users groups each month. There is such a wealth of talented artists submitting in them. Congratulations to everyone.

This months winning shot took us by surprise. It was a simple, elegant first attempt at shooting fine art from Jolien Doeschot. Portraits of beautiful models or shots of children are usually the most popular in the group, but this still life had that wowfactor. Great shot, Jolien!!

Winners of the Photo of the Month award receive a few awesome goodies from Alien Skin Software. They get one of our super comfy Alien Skin t-shirts, a laser-engraved thumb drive loaded with all of our awesome photography software, and they’re featured right here on the blog.

Wait, there’s more…

This month, our monthly photo contest prize package has been kicked up a notch by our friends at Lookslikefilm and their Fine Print Studio. They will be sending an 8×12 print on Baryta paper of the winning shot right to the photographers door. We are also going to send Leigh Bishop a print because of her back-to-back win in August and September.

There are plenty more top choice shots listed below. Congrats to all of you as well. These are awesome!

I love Alien Skin Software. Attached is a recent clock face. A combination of Exposure, Snap Art and Eye Candy were used for this. The background ‘painting’ surround was from the side of a rusted gas pump. Amazing what can be done with Alienskin.
