Photo Bundle Price Drop

We want more people to get the benefits of all of our photography tools. So, we have permanently decreased the price of the Photo Bundle to $495. That is less than half the cost of buying each product separately.

You can get the Photo Bundle for the upgrade price of just $295 if you already own one of the products in it. Note that you must own the current version, which means one of Exposure 3, Blow Up 3, Snap Art 3, Bokeh 2, or Image Doctor 2. Have your license code ready when you select the Photo Bundle upgrade in our web store.

“We want more people to get the benefits of all of our photography tools” any chance that you are going to lower the price for the individual tools?

    • Jeff December 13, 2011 at 4:49 pm

We are happy with the prices of the individual products. There are no plans to change them right now.

i believe you are, but you should ask yourself if the customers are happy ?
I believe you have a great product but lowering the prices will make more people want to use it and you are going to be doubling your sales and more important is that more people are going to get use to using your products instead of the ones from the competition

I love your products, esp the bokeh 2. I still think you are a bit too high in the price…. there are other products I’ve downloaded that are either free or much, much less that gives me almost the same result. There isn’t enough difference for me to pay your much higher prices. If I am going to drop several hundred dollars it will be on equipment or towards new lens. Coming down to $295 would be more in the ballpark of what’s out there in the photographer’s world.

We thank you for your comments, however we do believe that you get far more than just a product when you work with us. When you purchase one of our products you also receive industry leading support for any and all questions or problems you may have no matter how simple or in depth they may be.

As much as I enjoyed using your software, at the end of the trial period, the cost vs want/need to me was not compelling enough to make that killer purchase. As the days and weeks passed on, I found myself back happy using Capture One and Photoshop for my processing and Alien Skin had simply fallen right off the radar… Jeff as the Marketing Guru and Chief Barista, I would look at some plans and strategies to ‘hook’ in people like me while still in that ‘honeymoon’ period. I was surprised at the lack of follow-up, marketing ‘things’ you don’t do after the trial period ended? You mention that marketing should be honest, informative and helpful but no mention about “doing what ever it takes to clinch a sale?”

Exposure 3 rocks. I’ve bought and paid for CS5, Lightroom etc but outside of the demo it’s a little too expensive for me. If there was a short term reduction in price for individual packages I’d snap it up.

But, this is the same for most plugins. We all want them cheaper. There are a lot of free plugins for lightroom though, and lightroom as a whole program is cheaper than Exposure 3.
