I see a lot of landscapes shot with infrared-sensitive film. Occasionally, I see some psychedelic portraiture. But I don’t see either one very often.

Mark Segal used Exposure’s infrared settings on a couple of shots. I’m glad he did! I think the effects are gorgeous. I’m especially fond of the halation on the egret.

The soft glow of the bright areas enhance the shadow on the egrets neck.
