3-D Printing

I was amazed to find out that 3-D printing is affordable from a company named Shapeways. They can use a variety of materials, including steel and glass.

You can design your own piece or order other people’s brilliant designs. I guess it is kind of like threadless.com. Everything from abstract geometry to iPhone cases, jewelry, and Escher knots. I’m in love!
