host requirements
Xenofex 2 is a plug-in and must be used with one of the following host programs:

Macintosh Hosts:
  • Adobe Photoshop CS2 9.0.2 or later
  • Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0.1 or later

Windows Hosts
  • Adobe Photoshop 6.0 or later
  • Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 or later
  • Adobe Fireworks CS3*
  • Corel Paint Shop Pro 7.0 or later
  • CADLink SignLab 7.5

*Adobe Fireworks compatibility note: Due to bugs in Fireworks’ support for Live Effects, we do not support using Alien Skin plug-ins as Live Effects in Fireworks CS3.  Filters can be launched from Fireworks’ filter menu without problems.


system requirements
 Xenofex 2 requires the following:

Macintosh Systems:
  • PowerPC or Intel processor
  • Mac OS X 10.4.0 or later
  • At least 64 Megabytes of physical RAM
  • All Alien Skin Photoshop plug-ins are now Universal applications.

Windows Systems:
  • Intel Pentium II processor (or compatible)
  • At least 64 Megabytes or greater of physical RAM
  • Windows 2000/XP/Vista
