In case you missed it, Blow Up 3 has arrived. Woot! In this update we focused on simplicity. Blow Up 3 enlarges clearer photos, does it faster, and has surprisingly few controls.
Jimmy wrote a cute article on the about box in Blow Up 3 (seen above). Since Jimmy joined the team we have more fun with the about boxes.
When Jimmy recently created new Eye Candy tutorial videos we realized that some of them also apply to using Photoshop in general. We looked through our video library and found a total of five videos that cover Photoshop topics: navigating around an image, batch actions, non-destructive editing, the color gradient editor, and applying filters to video in Photoshop Extended. We brought them together in this article.
One of our programmers, Asdiel, has been exploring a random texture generation system. A similar system gave us the name Alien Skin. If there is interest then we will post some high resolution textures.

Jeff enjoys amateur underwater photography and recently gave some tips on it. With some practice you can get surprisingly good shots from the inexpensive Canon D10 waterproof camera.

Take a look through the Alien SKin Software Flickr group. November was a good month for great shots. There were a lot of things added. Check out the blog post to see if your shots made it in.

This month we've been posting about other people's fun visual projects in the blog. Come see a mind blowing movie of Earth from space, a painting created without brushes, photography from high altitude balloons, and magical insertion of computer graphics into photos.
The blog is our fountain of information that feeds the newsletter. If you use an RSS reader then grab the feed. We post most articles to Facebook, Twitter, and sometimes the Flickr group.
