Non-Destructive Editing
Jimmy Beech put together a new tutorial video on non-destructive editing in Photoshop. He demonstrates the use of multiple smart filters on a single image and gives you a slew of tips and tricks along the way.
This technique is great for exploration and experimentation during your digital processing. These types of non-destructive techniques simplify your workflow and speed up your results.

Improved Support Area
We have dramatically improved our support systems. Our old knowledgebase and forums have been replaced by the modern Zendesk system. The new trouble ticket system will make it clearer to both you and us how an issue is being handled.
We have done a thorough review to make our support articles more attractive and easier to search. Speaking of articles, here is one about our updated panels for Photoshop CS5.
Blog!
I'm thrilled that we finally have a blog! The newsletter just isn't big enough for all the things I want to write about. The newsletter may end up being a best of the blog digest.
Expect at least a few posts per week. Of course there will be news about Alien Skin, our products, and tutorials. You will also see articles on topics like photography, graphics, and entrepreneurship. It's nice to take a break from pimping our products sometimes. For instance, the picture above is part of an article I just wrote for fun.

The New Look of Old Film Stock
Chris Grey at prophotoresource.com wrote a great article titled "The New Look of Old Film Stock" that shows off many Exposure 3 presets. Chris points out one of the normally overlooked things unique to Exposure, accurate grain. His affinity for the look of film comes from a heavy background in film shooting.
