DIY Bokeh Lens Project
Working on our Bokeh product got us paying attention to all kinds of fun photography projects. Here is one from Karsten Stroemvig that lets you control the shape of highlights. You’ll need a large aperture lens, black paperboard, and tape. If you prefer software to hardware, you can achieve the same effect with Bokeh. Our friend Taran Morgan made a tutorial that shows how.
 Jim and Tony’s Book
Our own Jim White and renowned photographer Tony Sweet collaborated on the book Nikon DSLR which just came out. The book covers the fundamentals of digital photography workflow as well as issues unique to Nikon cameras. This is especially useful if you have recently graduated to a DSLR or switched to Nikon from another brand.
Easter Egg
