Photoshop 7/CS Compatibility

Xenofex 2 works with Photoshop 7.x, CS and CS 2.

Image Doctor works with Photoshop 7.x, CS and CS 2.

Splat! works with Photoshop 7.x, CS and CS 2.

Eye Candy 4000 for Mac will work with Photoshop 7.x under OS 9 or Classic Mode. Mac OS X users will need the latest version to work under OS X. Email with your name and Eye Candy 4000 registration code to get the latest installer.

Photoshop CS and CS2 are not compatible with the Classic Environment. You will need the latest version of Eye Candy 4000 if you use CS or CS 2. However, if you purchased Eye Candy 4000 anytime since early 2003, you have the latest version. If, upon installing into Photoshop CS you do not see it listed as a host program, you simply need to find the CS Plug-ins folder manually by clicking on the "Choose another install location" button and navigate your way to the CS Plug-ins folder.

Eye Candy 4000 for Windows is fully compatible with Photoshop 7.x, CS and CS2. If you purchased Eye Candy 4000 anytime before November of 2003, the installer will not be able to locate the Photoshop 7.x, CS or CS 2 Plug-ins folder. To remedy this, choose one of the following options:

• If you are a registered user and can receive files via email, we can send you an installer that easily installs into Photoshop 7.x or CS. The installer file is around 1 Mb in size. Email . Please include your name and your Eye Candy 4000 serial number.
• You can move the entire Eye Candy 4000 folder from the previous Photoshop Plug-ins folder to the Photoshop 7.x or CS Plug-Ins folder.
• You can reinstall Eye Candy 4000 using your current installer. Do not let the installer look for the Photoshop Plug-ins folder. When you are prompted to locate the destination folder, pick the Plug-Ins folder in the Photoshop 7.x, CS or CS 2 folder.

Xenofex 1.0 for Mac will not work under OS X, and therefore, is not compatible with Photoshop CS. It will work with Photoshop 7 under OS 9 or Classic Mode, however. In order to work with Photoshop 7.x under OS X or at all with Photoshop CS or CS 2, you will need to upgrade to Xenofex 2.0.

Xenofex 1.0 for Windows is fully compatible with Photoshop 7.x, CS and CS 2. The installer, however, will not be able to locate the appropriate Plug-ins folder. To remedy this, choose one of the following options:

• You can move the entire Xenofex folder from the previous Photoshop Plug-ins folder to the Photoshop 7.x Plug-Ins folder.
  
• You can reinstall Xenofex using your current installer. Do not let the installer look for the Photoshop Plug-ins folder. When you are prompted to locate the destination folder, pick the Plug-Ins folder in the Photoshop 7.x, CS or CS 2 folder.
