When I showed my friend Ben Spiker our Bokeh tool he said, “Oh, I get it! It’s like freelensing.” I had no idea what he meant. He explained that freelensing is when you detach your lens and move it a little to get tilt-shift and light leak effects. Of course Bokeh is much safer for your camera, but I love this kind of lo-fi trickery. This reminded me of one of my favorite photography books, Photojojo! The book and the web site are a fun source of ideas for photography projects. I want everything in their store! And of course Photojojo has a guide to freelensing.
